I have a Yamaha EG 112C and I need some new pickups.

I have no idea when it comes to pickups, and what kind'll fit in my guitar.

I mostly play metal, and have a very low budget.

You'll probably want GFS (Guitarfetish) pickups, they really do have the best value for their cheapness. That guitar can only have 1 humbucker in the bridge, and it looks like singles in the mid and neck positions, but you can take off the pickguard to check the routing.
Personally, I'd get three Lil' Killer mini humbuckers (http://yhst-50206111187217.stores.yahoo.net/casetof3lilk.html), which would require a new pickguard, or, a GFS Crunchy Rails (http://store.guitarfetish.com/gfscrraourho.html) and two other pickups of your choice (http://store.guitarfetish.com/singlecoil.html)

However, note that new pickups won't make low quality wood sound much better, and, what amp are you using?

EDIT: The links don't seem to be working to well, if they don't go through to the products, get onto the GFS homepage, click "GFS Pickups" and work from there
