Alright, so i want to coil split my strat-clone, and maybe my Jackson. The strat clone has only one humbucker in the bridge position, and isnt that good, so i figure i'd start there. With the clone, it doesnt have a pickup selector (for obvious reasons) so i'd have to buy a push/pull pot. Now, how do I wire that? I dont know what brand they are, but I could find out if its REALLY needed. I know i'll need at LEAST a solder-iron (which I have) but would I need anything else?

First you need to open it up and see if it's a four-conductor pickup. It's probably not, in which case you won't be doing any coil splitting unless you feel like pulling the entire pickup apart.

Okay. I dont have time to open up my strat right now, but the humbuckers in my jackson are 4 conductor (at least the site: http://www.wdmusic.com/kent_armstrong_oem_distortion_pickup.html says so) That one has a 3 way selector switch. Could I re-purpose it so that its neck-bridge-coil? i dont use the middle anyways.
