ok so the top strap button on my guitar is loose to the point of the screw almost falling out of the wood. i think the wood is all chewed up around the screw, because i can push it in and pull it out without twisting it, but it doesn't fall out. how can i fix it so it won't fall out?

you can put some toothpicks in the hole add wood glue then screw back in thru the toothpick, let set.

it'll hold for a long time if you do it right.

get a wooden dowel size it to the hole shove it in and break it off. file flat and but the button back in. or do the same with a few wooden match sticks.

just glue the bottom of the strap button to your guitar, but make sure u want it there for good unless u want to most likely damage ur guitar getting it off. thats what a friend of mine did, works fine
