Quick Pit, HELP ME OUT!

I am doing a Personal Development project last minute and I need a cool metal song with some meaning behind it (not about disemboweling 20 fetuses).

So, just give me some suggestions. Preferably if they have to do with Character and Integrity and all that jazz.

Many thanks pitmonkehz.

Thats Run To The Hills.

I'd suggest something like Diary of a Madman by Ozzy. Kind of an internal conflict going on in there.

LAI LAI HEI ~ Ensiferum

The Land ~ Bathory

Not 100% sure what you're looking for though.

Hieronymus Bosch - Artificial Emotions. The whole album.

Supuration - The Cube. The guy who said Death is awesome, everything past Leprosy is great, Symbolic in particular had great lyrics. Wolf Spider - Pain.

Just off the top of my head, there's certainly more.

How is Iron Maiden not metal? Just an epic, epic ballad. Maiden kicks ass. Great song.

But on another note, almost anything off of that maiden album (Dance of Death). I would suggest Face In The Sand myself.

Or...

Wasted Years - Iron Maiden
Operation Mindcrime (album) - Queensryche

Got a question about Baritone guitars? Feel free to PM me.

Thanks to UG, I converted from Metalcore to some "real" Metal.

I just had to do a similar project, lol, but yeah I picked The Fugitive by Iron Maiden, my second choice was The Trooper also by Iron Maiden. Hope that helps you out

Quote by Imperium by Machine Head
Hear me now
Bearing down upon a path we choose
Chosen from the start living different rules
Existence something to cherish true
Will not succumb to doubts that I hold onto
Release the fear of my pain
In so much pain
Give me the will to fight
Every obstacle that I have inside
Release the fear and

Hear me now
Words I vow
No fucking regrets

Fuck these chains
No god damn slave
I will be different

I'll stand here defiantly
My middle finger raised
Fuck your prejudice

All my life
Always I've felt alone
Conditioned to believe that I'm always wrong
Only truth will help to set me free
My every weakness I must turn into strength
Every rage, every tear
Hate in so much hate
Never that pain will bind me
Ask of myself if I've the will to unwind
Every rage and tear

Hear me now
Words I vow
No fucking regrets

Fuck these chains
No god damn slave
I will be different

I'll stand here defiantly
My middle finger raised
Fuck your prejudice

Carved upon my stone
I will go on
Patience, belief
Love will ascend

Just listen to it
Voice so true inside calling
To pick you up and march you on
Keep from falling
Let go your sorrow
Sun will shine, this I promise
Rising tommorow
Rising

Hear me now
I'm taking back the control
Of my
Life from societies hold
I vow
No more will I be a slave
Rise to
Challenge the whole human race

My spirit you cannot break

"Just listen to it
Voice so true inside calling
To pick you up and march you on
Keep from falling
Let go your sorrow
Sun will shine, this I promise
Rising tommorow
Rising" especially.

I agreee with Imperium...listen to it live now THAT is awesome.

Experiencing it live blows listening to Imperium away tenfold...I got goosebumps when it started.

No mention of the Unforgiven trilogy by Metallica?

Art of Life - X Japan is quite deep, although it's a 30 minute epic.
The lyrics talk of life and the harsh realities people live everyday

THANK YOU ALL!

Dragonforce's lyrics are FAR from deep. Songs about galloping onto fields (far away field) into fire and then like killing other men is not exactly the best example of a song with strong values being showed.

I lol'd at I Cum Blood though.

I will check out Death and other suggestions.. thanks. If you can think of anymore that have to do with character and like integrity and personality traits then that would be ideal. If not, I can just use some lame song xD.

+1 to whoever said Into Battle by Ensiferum, actually alot of their songs might be inspirational in a way along with some of Amon Amarth's stuff. Also, I'd suggest the song Starchild by Wintersun.
