Ive had my guitar for about 7 months now. (bought it used) And I've restrung it a few times before, and im always messing with the action and the screws on the microtuners. but now it's beginnig to sound a little off. And i think it's time for a setup. But i wouyld like to know some other tell-tale signs of needing a setup. And lastly, what exactly do they do when they run the guitar through a setup? is this somthing i could do myself with the right tutorial?

in a good set up you should
1. change strings
2. adjust truss rod
3. adjust action
4. set the intonation
5. adjust the pick up height

if you know what you are doing you could set up your guitar but if not get it done by a pro
