I only have three favorite amps that I've tried... (damn my few opportunities )

1. Fender Blues Deluxe, I think it was called... Something Deluxe. Belongs to a friend of mine.
2. Mesa Dual Rectifier Roadster
3. My VK. Yes, I said it. I actually like my VK's tone.

I haven't tried as many high end amps in person as I've wanted to, but...

Mesa Dual Recto
VHT Pitbull
Marshall JVM
Carvin Legacy
Uh... Peavey JSX?

Yeah, that's not that many, the Legacy and the JSX probably would've even be considered high end. Oh well, I'm still young.

^Bottom of the high end, but definitely nice amps. My favorite amp I've ever tried is a mesa lonestar, but I haven't tried many.

I had played an old Mesa Boogie about 11 years ago (borrowed from someone to use in a talent show) and that had been my favorite amp I'd played (not sure which model it was, but it was even old back when I used it). Finally just got my own Boogie Mark IV at the end of last week, and that claims all top five spots (it has enough drastically different tones to be well more than 5 distinctly different amps).

Dont really have a list, but I'd love to get my hands on a Splawn Nitro.

I can only dream to even TRY out a Mark IV. I've heard the amazing tone from sound clips, live performances, albums, youtube videos, etc, and I've decided that is THE amp I want.

I haven't tried out too many amps... Out of the ones I've tried, I'd say I like the 5150.

Hey, 3 out of 5 isn't too bad !!! That's why I bought the ones I have, though. I saved up til I could afford my favorites, after trying dozens of amps every year at NAMM & various guitar shops around the country. I do admit to buying the Scorpion w/o trying it first, but it worked out well . The Uber & RK would be redundant for me though. My amps already do what those can do. Funny, but I really want a Tiny Terror (love that amp) & a Divided by 13 9/15. They're different enough in their own ways to be on a GAS list!!
I think if I had to keep only one amp forever, though, it'd probably be the 5150 III, because it does everything well. The Scorpion takes a bit of fussing around to get it to do different tones.

Actually, I did once play on an amp called a Mocaldo. They're a local handmade boutique amp company, made in Connecticut. Has anyone ever heard anything about them? The clean channel is a Fender sound and the crunch channel is a mid gain british sound, like a Marshall.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.
