Key of C I think, see below:
If anyone has any great suggestions for a chord progression for the Chorus, I would be forever greatfull ....

[F] You can sleep [C/G] 'till noon.
[F] Wonder where [C/G] the day goes.
[G] Push away all of the covers
[F] Just throw on [C/G] your clothes. [F] [C/G]

PRE CHORUS: (all down strokes, tempo x2 from verse)
[Am] Baby I know we're different,
[F] And everyone asks you [G] why?
[Am] Let them have all their doubts
[F] While you tell them this [G] reply,
Singing,

CHORUS:
I'd walk a thousand miles
just to be next to mine
I'd climb to the highest
to steal away your pain
yeah if I'm flawed at my best
then you're perfect in every way
yeah you're perfect in every way

write your own song ftw?

hahaha yeah

EDIT: actually, im gonna try and be helpful.
if your REALLY stuck on the progression and cant find a new on for the chorus, play the same chords one step up.
so basically, transpose it one step up.
thats a real attention grabber.
(hahaha grabber is a funny word)

this will work too. the whole point of

"write your own song ftw"

is simply that in order to learn how to write a song you have to WRITE SONGS. sometimes you don't write everything all at once. i've personally got songs that are like 4 or 5 years old that i haven't finished because i haven't figured out where i want them to go. theres nothing wrong with taking your time to write something decent and a skill like songwriting/composing is something you have to work on and do lots. the point im trying to make is that you shouldn't be taught that relying on someone else to finish writing your songs is ok. might as well hire a producer to write all your music *COUGH*avril lavigne*COUGH*kelly clarkson*COUGH*
