For my A2 music coursework I have to record a song into Cubase using a Midi Backing Track. We converted the MIDI to Wav so we could use the digital effects rather than Midi Effects.

Because it sounded shit, I decided to record guitars at home and so I've installed Cubase SX3.

There is no audio playback though. Not from the Wavs. When I import a Midi, it plays fine.

Any ideas on what is wrong?

It doesn't make sense.

Wassap, Im on the mac. You have to click on the track and then select the "playback". You can choose Computer/monitor, midi, or USB interface. You may have to select monitor.
