Here's my reasons: I got a setup a few months ago, and now the strings rattle again. I tried adjusting the truss rod myself, but in fear of breaking it, I didn't turn it any harder. Anyway, if I got .011 would that counteract that and maybe pull the neck up a little bit?

Also, are .011 any harder than .010 that I use right now, will they sound heavier?

dude you should try and adjust the bridge first before puting thicker strings on. it wouldnt be great for strings that big to be tuned standard (asuming thats what you are tuned to)

They're not that much bigger than the regular ones. I like the bridge where it is, the rattling bothers me only when unplugged.
