So, today at my (catholic) high school, the sophomores and juniors had ACT prep tests, and the seniors went to observe a college. So, us freshmen got to go to the chapel, have a communion service, and then go into the Theater. In the theater, the Campus Ministry team told us about the different groups we could join. One of which was FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes. They had a video of the summer trip the previous class went on and this song was playing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ihbZE6aVgY&feature=related

I have to admit, i didnt really like christian music until i heard this.

tl;dr i found this Christian rap song, and liked it.

Thoughts on it? It takes some talent to rap and not talk about hoes and money.

Have you ever heard Ooh Ahh by The Grits? They're a pretty good christian rap group.

And I don't see how this is really christian, considering krunk = crazy drunk.

I don't see how it's different then any other get "krunk" rap song, honestly. It just says Jesus a few times.

I don't listen to much rap, or enjoy it that much, but I do enjoy listening to NWA and Necro a lot.

Did you follow the lyrics? Its more than just the chorus.

I follow the lyrics. While they may be different, in a sense of it relates to Jesus a bit more, it still has that same style as all the other ones that play in that same genre (Is it a genre? I don't really know).

I mean, I'd have to say this takes as much talent as rapping about anything else, including hoes and money. I just don't hear the extended talent, but that's just me man. It's cool you like it, I'm not saying it's awful or anything haha. It just.. sounds really similar to me.

I love this video, my friend and I used to sing the song in church, haha.

On topic, I heard of Lecrae, but I'm not so much of a rap fan, so never checked his music out, it's okay, better than Lollipop.
