Just wondering is there any rules regarding touching the tubes with your bare hands?
Thanks

If there are any real dos/donts please list them

You can touch tubes with your hands. Just make sure you wash and dry them real good first. Then, when you're finished, just gently wipe the tubes off with a dry cloth. I've done this so many times, never a single problem.

Don't touch them if the amp has been turned on in the last 5-10 minutes.
Or they [your fingers] will BURN*!

Its reading 37.00 at the moment, what should i change it too , please take into account this is a Laney GH100L

Laney Amps including the AOR, GH and VH series all average about 460pv - 38 to 44mA.

Does plate voltage matter?

Not really, watching a video on eurotubes

Edit- i have the probe connected to one of the new tubes, do i have to connect it to every tube , get a reading, and adjust or just one?

Yes?

Make it 38 - 40, it should make things somewhat better.
