I'm new to electric guitaring. I see a power squeezer button in my amp that changes the sound considerably. Howerer, when its turned off, the sound is louder and brighter. Could anyone tell me the idea behind power squeezer? When and why to use it etc.

Also, when i palm mute ( amp settings -> Bass= 2; Middle= 8; Treble= 7; Gain= 8 ), the sound is too dead. I have also tried placing my palm hard, soft, near the bridge, near the bridge pick but nothing helps.

Please advice

It downgrade your amp to 2Watts so you can get feedback and such easier.
