I want to turn my MIM Standard Telecaster into an HSH or HH configuration. I know that i would have to rout the body for the humbuckers, buy a new bridge and pickguard, and change some pots and wiring. But how hard would this be? I've never really done major guitar work before besides a little bit of soldering.

My goal was to put a Dimarzio Tone Zone in the bridge, a strat single coil in the middle, and a Dimarzio PAF Pro in the neck. Would this even be possible?

Thanks in Advance.
If you've ever done any routing or wiring before, it isn't anything tricky.

I haven't really done any routing, but I've done some wiring. Do i have to have a router or is there a different way to do it?

Oh and i need a new bridge because the humbucker won't fit in the regular bridge.

why would you need a new bridge

tele bridges are longer and house a pickup with so he could cut the metal to make it fit a bucker but easier to by new bridge and pickgaurd
