oh yeah, and I remember when you could download mp3s from websites, before there was any crackdown whatsoever, then a bit later CD burners became mainstream and napster came out.

In 2003, my cousin showed me this site called Albinoblacksheep

I remember having dial up and playing flash games on websites like Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon and stuff like that.

Also downloading music from actual websites. I would sit there for like 5 minutes waiting for one song. Then I would listen to that song for five minutes while I got the next one and so on.

I had a stash of about 10 sites that hosted mp3s until they got shut down.

Yeah I remember all the little 3D animated GIFs and how I wouldn't trust anything a site said if they had these GIFs on it.

My earliest Internet experiences that I can remember come from 1996/1997 when I mainly was looking for various games' cheat codes. Then I went on to chatting in online chatrooms. Then it pretty much went awall...

I remember sitting on my dad's lap downloading Boston songs off Napster. So that woulda been like 12 years ago... I pine for the 90's again

You were on Napster in 1996? That would make you 3 years old at the time... downloading boston? I see your parents raised you well

Something like that, I don't remember exactly when but I do remember not knowing who did all the songs my dad burned onto CDs for me (good stuff like eagles, supertramp, ELO, all the "softer" classic rock)

EDIT: OK i looked it up, so it must've been in '99 when it just came out. Which makes sense because I got my first CD player when I was about 6

The first computer we ever owned had dial-up internet. So first time on the internet I heard my mom talking to my aunt through the speakers on the phone. The computer eventually broke and we never saw it again. When we got a new one like four years later we got the internet and I made an e-mail, intstalled msn and looked at porn.

I remember playing music through AOLmusic a lot.
I remember AOL chatrooms.
And then there was Runescape. Oh and I printed a lot of anime pictures for some reason.

I used to play games on Cartoon Network and participate in a forum of playing versions of Zelda games when I was 9.

I didn't even know about porn till two years later.
