My guitar is 2 years old, it only has a couple of scratches, but other than that its in pretty good condition, ive never gigged it or nothing, ive practically just used it at home. But ive noticed its starting to rust around the bridge, and i dont know why, its not like its been in the rain, or ever been wet, but why is it rusting. My other guitars are'nt rusting. Any ideas?

Thanks, much appreciated.

Do you palm mute a lot?

I heard that sweat from the hand can rust the bridge.

Maybe the air is very moist in your house

If the air is 100% dry you would be dead by now...

Opening windows much accidently throuhg the rain?

I doubt once would break it. But maybe over 2 years it would start to rust.

What guitar is it, to see if cheap parts may be the problem.

Stop sweating so much.
Did you know the odds of a Vault-Tec shelter failing are 1,763,497 to 1?
