YOYOYOYO,
I got a jackson JS30RR a bit back and its got a nice body and a nice neck, but only being a £229 guitar it doesn't really have the nicest of sounds.
I went to a guitar shop today and asked about having a pickup put in, the guy recommended me a Gibson 500T or a Seymour Duncan pickup.

I play metally bluesy stuff with lots of pinching so what would be the best path for me to go down?
Thanks
Terry

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
