I have a Traynor DG30D with a LTD EX 400, I've been looking for a decent pedal for metal. I got the Death Metal but that sounds just horrible. From what I understand, this amp is supposed to be decent for a solid state.

So the question is...which metal pedal? I'll probably use musiciansfriend, keep it around 100 CDN. I was thinking the Metal Muff, but how will that sound with a solid state?

Metal Muff sounds like a good choice. Or one of the Big Muff's (Russian or USA)
Keeping it real since '92

I used a Metal Muff on my Solid State Marshall a while back, sold it cause I needed the cash. Sounds great IMO. You can get a variety of tones out of it, assuming they're metal tones of course....

Rock on!
