hey people...I'm working on comping for a song and I'm have trouble switching between chords quickly...i know its just practice...anyone had this problem before or have any advice

yea, sometimes. now its with sweep picking. but all its about is slowly transfering your fingers for a while and then picking up pace every five minits or something. it helps me a lot when sweeping and sweep tapping.

Isolate each chord change individually, and play 1 then the other at what ever pace you can, and repeat over and over untill you can up the tempo e.g if you were playing 12 bar blues in G the chord changes you would need to practice are

G to C
C to G
G to D
D to C

and thats it, practice practice practice
