ultimate-guitar.com seriously it has everything you need but if you need more
check cyberfret.com try checking the website freelicks.com if you want to pay go to http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/

check the exercises on the advanced technique forum i posted some exercises and other people have posted exercises that are very good for sweeping, alternate picking, chords all that sort of stuff look at ugtv they have plenty of videos to work diffrent techniques go through them before you decide to waste your money like i did and then realize everything is covered on UG
my guitar stuff:
ESP JH-600
ValveKing 112
DigiTech Whammy Pedal
Taylor 314CE
Dunlop SW-95 Slash Wah Pedal

anyone ever tried http://www.guitarlessonworld.com/ some downloadable book. may be rubbish i suppose.

i will take a good look around ug.
the other one i've been recomended is http://www.licklibrary.com
saw them at the london music show earlier this year and they had some amazing players on their stand

guitarlessonworld looks like crap not many lessons and it looks like it would be cheap lessons like pure basics

likclibrary on the other hand looks nicer but guitarmasterclass.net if you set on spending money seems better to me they have guitarpro files and they have really good lessons you can check some of kristofer lessons on ugtv but check on UG first

there's really no substitution to personal lessons. you should definitely try to get a teacher from your area, which teaches in a school (private) and get in there.
i mentioned private because over here, they won't let you in if you're older than 10 or something (stupid).

and oh, don't forget to look 'em up on the web first. chances are, if he isn't there, he won't be worth your bucks. i was lucky to have found a god in my first try
