So I've got a couple of questions about the Carvin v3:

(1) How bright\dark is the amp voiced?

(2) Is it a good amp for the br00talz compared to something like an ENGL Powerball?

(3) Can you dial in a lot of low end without muddying up the sound?

(4) How does it respond to Vader cabinets?

EDIT: Forgot about this:

(5) How does it sound at bedroom volumes?

And thanks USAPeavey for clarifying a few things for me.

1. Pretty bright IMO

2. Never played the Powerball, but the V3 does have loads of gain.

3. Yes, but because of the brightness it tends to "fizzy" rather than muddy. A EQ pedal fixes that though.

4. I have no idea

playing by yourself is like masturbating, sure it feels great, but it's nothing compared to the real deal.

the one guy from Suicide Silence uses one with a BBE Sonic Maximizer. Guitar Player reviewed one awhile ago and said it was really damn versatile, and had quite a lot of bass in it.

I thought they sounded remarkably similar to the B-52 AT100, a bit more gain though. I really didn't like the one I played.

lots of great feature in the amp, but in my opinion the tone is a bit too fizzy, not like it breaks up or anything i just think the amps tone sounds a bit fizzy
