I've been playing with both lately but seriously don't know wich one to take. Jazz III is pretty good for shredding, but I really don't know, sometimes I feel unstable maybe because I haven't been playing alot with them so I'm not used to them but on another side, I've been using .73 dunlop tortex for a long time and it's pretty good but it has it cons.

So I'm wondering, wich one of you guys use?

I know I should use what I think I should or am more confortable, but I just want your opinion. If you want, ignore the paragraph up there.

Thanks in advance

I use Jazz IIIs. I think they're excellent picks, though I think they fall short if you need to play something gentle.

In your case, I think you should go with the Tortex.

I have both the Jazz IIIs and .73 Tortexes. I couldn't stand the Jazz IIIs, so all I use now are .73 Tortexes.

How come in my case?

Do you mean that because I'm not used to them?

Because with time I could.

My friend is crazy about the small sized Jazz III. I don't like them at all to be honest.

I use Tortex Blues cut (and sanded smooth) to the size of Jazz 3s. Its awesome, I get the better feel and tone of Tortex, the precision or Jazz 3, but also, I have it smooth and sharp to the point where it feels like Im playing on AIR. Its great

What the fuck man!? That's SWEET

I think I might actually use that!

i use a mix of dunlop stubbies (3mm) and lighter guage planet waves picks. i find the attack on heavier picks just too heavy for anything but lead. too much "thwaack". if you're used to dunlop, stick with them.

That's what I'm searching kinda!

I like the tone of tortexs. But I just have to get used to the size of jaz IIIs.

Plus, those plastic jaz ones go wet =[

I'm going to my local music store to see if they have any of those kind.
