I play mostly pop-punk/punk-rock and have two options for a new amp.

The Vox Valvetronix amp
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Music-instruments/Instruments/Guitar-bass/Guitar-amps/auction-183088822.htm

or

The Marshall Valvestate atv 2000

Both second hand, the marshall is slightly cheaper but not alot so its not a big deal.

I don't need effects that badly cause of the genres i play so which has the better sound? Which is the best amp and why?

Thanks alot!!

what's your budget?
Ibanez RG321MH (Air Classic/Tone Zone)
Fernandes Telecaster (Twang King/stock bridge pickup)
Blackstar HT-20 (Scumback 55 speaker/ Tung Sol tubes)
TC Electronic Nova Repeater
Lava Cables Clear Connect, Soar and Mini ELC

Also NZ doesn't have half the amps in store or a local online site in stock. so its kinda hard.
