Just wondering if anyone knows how to work out how much tax I will have to pay on delivery of two parcels I've ordered. Both are from the USA, one is aproximately $40 (about £20) and the other about $12 (about £6). I live in the UK, and im just wondering on how much I'm going to be charged.

When you said it was rediculous I imagined an extra £20. £6 isn't too bad.

The tax isn't what is killer, but the actual shipping charges are usually ridiculous.

nah, i find the shipping is fine, tax is ridiculous.

i bought a loaded scratchplate from USA, cost £40, then it cost me an extra £13 for shipping and haldling and £6 tax.

if i ordered an amp on musicians friend, shipped it to family in the pennsylvania, and then got them to ship it to me by ups it would be almost 100 bucks extra.
i live in southwestern ntario, ie not THAT far from pennsylvania.
