What are some decent/alright home recording equipment? Mics, mixer board, computer programs and such?

get pro tools im not sure on ur price range but the le version is not to expensive and good i dont remember the name of the mike but it was like 100 and great for guitar and drumbs i think it was a sm 1000 or sn 1000

This is an impossible question to answer without giving both a budget and what instruments you want to record.
