I am up dating one of my guitars from gold hardware to chrome, I'm also fitting new pick ups and a new bridge, Floyd Rose. But the old string lock is shaped to fit behind the nut. I like this but I cannot find a chrome one that is the same. I can find lot's of one that replace the nut.
Anyone know where I can get a shaped one from.

Cheers

Kinda like this perhaps?

If so, thats a Kahler locking...thingy.

Any place that deal Kahler parts should be able to hook you up

You can fit a normal FR locking nut behind the regular nut if you want. Just shim it up a bit. Especially if you have no beef with fitting a string retainer bar too.

Because it'd go out of tune all the time.
The locking tuners don't do nearly as good a job as a locking nut.
