I am thinking of replacing my Ibanez Gio which I may add I dislike the neck just dosen't feel right. I have also have been sharing with my dad a Leban Les Paul(Its a Gibson remake) And a 65 Gibson les Paul. I hate to do that sice he may kill me if i dent of scratch one of them haha. Well any way I've played guitar a year and play stuff like AC/DC, GNR, Sabbeth, Manson, Godsmack, Disturbed,Mettalica, Tom Petty, and so on. I have a amp of my own its a Kustom Dart 10. Well anyway I was looking at these guitars. Nothing over $300 American.

Vintage G-400, best value FTM.
I'd recommend the Goth not because I like it but because it doesn't have pickup covers (which, being chrome plated, suck a lot of your tone/treble out).

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
