I'm meeting with the the seller of this guitar

http://lincoln.craigslist.org/msg/886739799.html

I have little experience with buying used guitars, so I wanted to know what all I should look for/check to make sure I'm not getting screwed over. Is there some kind of handy checklist, or something like that? I couldn't find a thread on this, sorry if there is one.

Check to make sure the neck isn't warped, the fret's are well maintained and not overly worn, Saddles are in good condition, the truss rod hasn't been damaged IE: overly tightened to the point of screwing up the neck(cracking or raising the fretboard), Tuning pegs aren't damaged, and wiring is a big one too, make sure to plug it in and check each pick up setting. That's about it though the link above gives a good idea on how to check some of that stuff.

Probably a piece of Mahogany, just not Aged like the ones you get in the Gibson line. . . . That's part of the reason why Gibson guitar woods and such cost so much, because they Age them for like 5-8 years or something and with cheaper guitars they age the wood about 1-2 years. . . . I can't remember the exact figures, but that has a lot to do with the cost of the body material itself.
