is there a pedal out there that can get that amazing rectifier sound that the cube 30 has. if it doesnt exist then it should.
#2
I thought only Mesa/Boogie Rectifiers had rectifier sound...

You'd probably be after a valve distortion pedal then, I guess.

Definitley a tube driven pedal. Im not to experienced with them, but it will be more saggy then a SS. Question, why are you trying to model a modeled setting? Why not just get a cube?

OR why not get a Triple Rectifier?

Well, the cube is modeled after a recto.

What exactly are you looking for. A pedal to run into another amp you have to make it sound like the Cube 30.

i can only afford cube 20 which dont have rectifier mode and im hoping to find a good decent pedal cheap on ebay, so im seeing if theres anything i should look out for

i just say wait until you get money for the cube 30

id guess that the money spent on a pedal would equal (if not be more) than the amount of extra money needed to go from the cube 20 to 30.

Try a Sansamp GT2, I've heard that is the closest you'll get to a recto in a box.

modeling amps don't take pedals well; however, crate amps do. Maybe a used Crate FXT or GT or someting along those lines. They have a very transparent clean channel, basically like a power amp for your pedals.

Most tube driven pedals used starved plate distortion, they're just as harsh as transistors when used in that way.

And will sound better then a Cube's Recto mode and a Flextone's 'Treadplate' combined.

TS, you are NOT going to get a pedal that will do what you want for less than the price difference between the Cube 20x and 30x...so either save up for the more expensive cube or suck it up.
