I need your help.

I want to know if there's a VST that I can use with my guitar to produce synth-like sounds.

I don't have any MIDI devices, otherwise I'd be using them with standard synths.
But I do have my trusty guitar! I normally record using GR3, but as I want more synth-based stuff (Think Harry Gregson-Williams, or the music for Ghost in the Shell), I need to know if there's a GR3 like plugin to give me great synth sounds.
ATM, this is just for fun/experimentation with different musical styles.

Don't care about prices, etc., recommend anything and everything.

You could try using a vocoder, set your guitar as control and synth as voice.

That might be useful!
Thanks.
