Ok so i want this Gretsch duo jet shown below

but unfortunately it costs £1500 and i don't have that money so i'm going to convert a cheaper guitar into a replica.

So do i A:
-buy a les paul standard
-paint it cadillac green
-install gold hardware and bigsby tremolo
-install two gretsch filtertron pickups

or do i B:
-buy this:-

(same body shape)
-paint it cadillac green
-install gold hardware and bigsby tremolo
-install two gretsch Dynasonic pickups

Both the les paul and the gretsch junior jet are mahogany bodies just like the orignal with rosewood fretboards.

The gretsch junior jet costs £160 and the les paul standard costs £270

What do you guys think?

Thanks

Junior Jet + filtertrons.
There's only one thing we can do to thwart the plot of these albino shape-shifting lizard BITCHES!

might as well go with the junior jet, you'll end up doing the same changes to either guitar, so go with the one that already has the correct headstock shape, cutaway shape, etc.
