Okay , I have been saving some cash to buy a Jackson CMG (used of course no pups)
and I was not able to buy it because someone beat me to it.

Now , I ended up buying a DKMG because i miss playing guitar so much , after 5 months of switching to bass.

All of my other effects are for guitar and i want to ask you guys if i its okay to buy effects in place of a bass guitar (I'm using a wrecked , Worn Down , but sexy Bass Guitar)

if you can guys give me recomendations on what to get (Effects), i would really appreciate your help. BTW , im now using a Bass overdrive and its major improvement as far as live sound is concerned.

TIA

I think he wants effects ideas.

If that is right, if you don't know what you want, you don't need it.

um, try out a modeling pedal of some sort?

you need to do both of these. many people prefer a bass with no effects on it.

I wouldn't call what we have here on the Bass Forum a mentality. It's more like the sharing part of an AA meeting.

Ahh, but if you know the pedal you want, then getting it will be fine, because at least you will know what you want it for. The problem is when people just ask for pedal recommendations, which doesn't work unless you want a massive pedalboard to get every variation of synthy tone you could wish for.

this is true when buying a new bass, a new amp, a new guitar, new effects, or really anything new for your bass or guitar except for maybe strings and cases (cause cases are virtually all the same unless you have a Bongo or a Warlock, and you'll only really know about that particular kind of string when you try it once.)

What effects do I want next? A moog pedal and an Electroharmonix POG. You seem to know you want a better bass. You don't seem to know what you wan for a pedal.
This concludes my biased opinion.
