i want to learn to improvise leads over simple rhythm tracks. Dont worry about my technique, and im very fimiliar with theory. I just have trouble soloing a continuous meaningful lead over a track.

can you just give me a few pointers on how to start?
Just keep playing around till you find a lick you like, then build on it. You should also try to keep changing the tempo and articulation of your notes, eg add bends every now and again. Just remember that if you play something you don't like, it's not the end of the world, just try and change to something different.

(Just in case you don't already: Know your Scales! I'm guessing you know, but just thought I'd say anyway!).

And remember, practise makes perfect!
wrong forum,

I think this belongs in riffs and recordings

Vivamus mea Lesbia, atque amemus,
