I've been struggling getting a couple of my guitars wired together, and they're exactly the way that the Seymour Duncan wiring diagram shows. However, I get nothing. My only assumption would be that I bought some extra wire (copper), when everything else looks to be aluminum. Would this prevent anything from working?

There is such thing as aluminum alloy wire. but that's probably tinned copper like he said.

did you ground everything? did you toast your pots? is it plugged in? is your volume up? show us a picture of your guitar and link your schematic.
