Why wireless?
I have a cheap pair of AKG K55's (Wired) which I use for mixing at college (When the speakers are in use)
And There great for practicing too.

I was using wireless headphones for a while, they were about $100 canadian but I could never seem to get rid of the static completely which was really annoying. I ended up buying a $10 25 foot extension chord for my sony noise cancelling earbud headphones ($30) which I normally use for my ipod, which actually sounds a lot better. unless you're going really high end, save your money.

Ugh! Wireless phones are to be avoided if you are a sound purist. If you want a great pair of wired phones, I can 100% approve the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Headphones. They are are around $100 and have at least a 13 to 25k range, great bass quality. I plug them directly into my amp and love them. They are also comfortable as hell.
