right now i have a jackson warrior with a seymour sh6 and a jazz in the neck. it has a floyd system, which is nice kind of, but its been bugging me recently. guing out of tune probably too often and such. and its such an extreme shape that i kind of want a more basic soloist shaped body.

i play death metal, so a thin neck helps, preferably neck thru or set, with a fixed bridge string thru for under $600.

i dont really care what pickups it has kuz il swap it out for some d-activators later on, as long as it plays nice and looks wicked. start droppin suggestions guys, i really appreciate it.

...getting money for my 18th birthday on the 29th, so i need to get rid of it somehow =P

I'd recommend an Ibanez, some of the following could work.
1. Iceman - This already has the Activators and has a cool although not ridiculous shape.

2. RG -
any of these below are decent.

3. Xiphos
Most Xiphos have crappy bridges, but this one has a good one.

I would also suggest the Ibanez Xiphos XPT700FX, it's not superstrat shaped but it fits your other criteria (well, a little over on the price, but it comes with D Activators). Same as the XPT700, except it has a fixed bridge instead of the stupid Edge III. And great specs for you - mahogany body, neck-thru, thin neck (it's what Ibanez is known for lol), and 24 frets. And I said, it comes with D Activators and goes for $650.

That's the one, although they called it XPT700 instead of XPT700FX

thats like almost like a carbon copy of the warrior though....awesome, but a carbon copy.

The Jackson Warrior was introduced in 1990, while the Ibanez Axstar (Precursor to the Xiphos) has been around since the early 80s.

EDIT: I'd go for the Iceman. It's a better quality guitar than the RG, you don't even need the pickup change so that'll save a lot of time. If I was looking for a six string, I'd buy that in a second.

The Iceman and the Xiphos fixed bridge are practically the same model, the only difference is the shape. And Ibanez had models like that before Jackson did.

Iceman is an awesome guitar spec-wise, but I personally find it very ugly.
