hmm isnt the "hard way" an a5 chord and the "easy way" (guessing in drop D tuning) an A#5 chord. WOAH

btw why did you posty this thread?? i dont see any point to it and i dont even know the sonG --------__________---------
#11
To play it "easier" would be:

D - 7
A - 7
E - 5

Or you could tune to Drop D and play:

D - 7
A - 7
D - 7

Argh! No such thing as A#. Its Bb.

And TS's "eazy" chord in Drop D would be G#

There most certainly is.
Someones knowledge of guitar companies spelling determines what amps you can own. Really smart people can own things like Framus because they sound like they might be spelled with a "y" but they aren't.

Looks like i'll have to start correcting you.

There is such thing as A#, and D#. Play a C# major scale, you know what notes are in it?
C#, E#, D#, F#, G#, A# and B#

You're foolish and ignorant. Yes, they are enharmonic tones, but they both exist. Stop acting like you know anything.

I may not be the smartest when it comes to music, but... I don't think E# and B# even exist...

Also, to the earlier quoted post, D# is Eb, isn't it? They're the same thing.

It's a troll thread so I'm just going to see if I'm right or wrong here. :P

well, you're wrong. E# and B# exist. they're enharmonic to F and C, but in the context of how they would be used in a C# major scale they're E# and B#. no D# is not Eb, they're enharmonic but function totally differently. learn your theory newb.

No, he's not correct. Learn your damn theory before spewing out idiocy.

E# and B# exist. Yes, they are enharmonic to F and C (enharmonic means that they're the same note) but yes, they do exist. Just as Fb and Cb both exist. Please stop answering questions and trying to correct people if you have no idea what you're talking about.

Every note, A - G, can be double flat, flat, natural, sharp, or double sharp. Every note, no exceptions.

Yep. He's one of a few people on here who actually know what they are talking about.

In response to TS, I hope this thread is a troll. If you really can't see the difference between those 2 triads after playing for 3 years, you need some serious help.
