If i was to replace the single coil bridge pick up on my telecaster what pick up would you suggest?

I don't know much about pick ups,

Also i play metal style music, like metallica, slipknot stuff like that (:

if anyone knows any good single coil pickups for the bidge position in a telecaster could you please help =]

thanks

Get a humbucker, or at least a single-sized 'bucker.

Seymour Duncan Hot Rails, for example.

EMG?

Dave Gilmour used EMGs in his Strat. I don't think it's suited for metal either.

Dimarzio Tone Zone T?

No? Why's that? Other than Pink Floyd isn't metal.

Nah i dont want to put a full sized humbucker in it to be honest.

cause the pick up wi sourounded by metal, you know how the telecaster bridge has the pick up like next to it, i'd have to cut the metal out. thats to much work.

must be single coil size.

^You can get a different bridge plate. A full sized bucker would really be your best bet.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

Have you ever really played out on his signature set? Those pickups can do anything.

Get some actives or a noiseless single-coil. Maybe a stacked 'bucker?

Or a Telerail:

i'm thinking of picking one up for my tele, but i'm debating on keeping it single coil, as all my other guitars have 'buckers.

should be a direct swap, and while you're looking for a pickup take a look at the dimarzio d'activators. john5 has them in his tele and his tone is pretty awesome.

Anything? Really? *rubs chin*
The type of metal I had in mind was more modern...

+1 to those bridge plate. I wasn't sure if they existed so I didn't recommend them.
