I currently have a Dunlop Crybaby 9-something-Q wah pedal and I'm growing increasingly dissatisfied with it. Whenever I engage it it makes the most awful popping noise you've ever heard, and it picks up radio static and feeds back like no tomorrow. So, to my question.

Is there a way to fix the problems that my wah pedal has, or should I just buy a new wah all together? Which wah do you think would be best? I play Indie mostly but dabble in some heavier stuff like Rammstein (think the solo for the actual song 'Rammstein'). Is there a wah that won't pop loudly when I engage/disengage and sound warm and nice at the same time?

That's a mouthful, I know, but I've been thinking about this for a while.
I'd like to grow up to be Charles Thompson.
