That's pretty much the same set list when I saw them in Saskatoon. I was kind of hoping they would play more stuff from Ghost Reveries, or Deliverance. Such as Master's Apprentices, or Reverie/Harlequin Forest. Ah well, kick ass show nonetheless.

Mikael is way too skinny in person.

thats a really short looking set.........

Not really. It was about 2 hours long. You have to remember, most of the songs averaged to about 10 minutes, plus Ackerfeldt talking.

Yea, I was really hoping for some Blackwater Park and/or Ghost of Perdition. I think Blackwater Park would have been a better encore. But, hey, I'm not complaining. It was amazing.

I saw them at prog nation and they played
Masters Apprentices
The Baying Of The Hounds
In My Time of Need
Wreath
Heir Apparent
The Drapery Falls

Next time they come around I'm definitely seeing them again.
#17
You're a lucky man, I wish I could've seen them when they came around Texas(for three consecutive dates by the way)

Oh and this belongs in the only Opeth thread in the bands and artists section of the site. It should come up if you put "Opeth" in the search bar.

That is the same set list they played at Norfolk. Possibly not the encore. My father mad me leave after Demon since he had work in the morning and he doesn't think it's a good idea for a 15 year old without a liscence to drive an hour and a half through a storm at midnight. Good show though.

...never gonna happen though

You guys seem to REALLY like My Arms, Your Hearse.

Night and the Silent Water is a great song, but I really don't like The Lotus Eater.

EDIT: Scratch that, I was thinking of another song on Watershed.

I saw them last month with the same setlist it was a great show. wish they would've played master's apprentices though.

You lucky bastard... when I saw them in Worcester, MA they didn't play Bleak. Other than that the setlist was the same.

But yeah they put on a fantastic show.

Serenity Painted Death is a brilliant song, that whole album is great. Lucky you got to see them, they still have yet to come anywhere near me.

I just saw them on the 15th in Dallas.

Fantastic show. Acoustics were great, and Mikael is a funny guy in between songs.

Good set list, too. Pretty identical to yours.

And funnily enough, my friend also caught High On Fire's bassist's pick.
