Hey. I was just curious. I don't believe the Epi LP Classic comes with a pickguard. Despite this, would it still be possible to have a pickguard put on it by a guitar technician?

You don't need a guitar tech. It's drilling a couple of tiny holes. What could go wrong *knocks on wood*

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

I see. Well when I look at LP's with the stock pickguard, there's this little gold part I see on the opposite side. I'm assuming this is to "Lift" the pickguard. Correct me if I'm wrong. Will I need one of these? I'd prefer to have it, but online, all I see for LP pickguards is just the guard, and not "lift"
