I think I'm getting a bit of rust on my OFR, but its only 3 months old. My other guitar, which I have owned for over a year, has no rust on it.

I don't sweat much when I play, but I don't wipe the guitar down every time either. Could even just a bit of liquid have caused this?

Could this have anything to do with the fact that one guitar is on stand, and the other is in a case? My room does get cold and dusty this time of year.

Can I fix the rusted parts?

How do I prevent rust?

thats not rust, its what happens to poorly coated aluminum or steel to make a silverish plating.

That's a relief! But shouldn't this not happen to an OFR?

Now that that's cleared up, what should I do regularly to maintain my bridge?
