Well, i just saw "Saw V" today.
It was awesome, though i hadnt seen the all the other Saw movies, just a little bit (the intro) too "Saw 4".
GREAT MOVIE
Full of gore-licious
I still dont understand how Jigsaw seems to always die and re-appear...

You got beaten to it.

But as I said in the other thread. I hated it. I'm not really that much of a saw fan, but it was just too hard to follow, and the gore was too much for me.

you need to see the first saw before you can say any other saw is good.

So would you say that V is better than IV? Because IV sucked...

...modes and scales are still useless.

Is there going to be a 6th? Cause it didn't finish wrapping-up the story line.

PROBLEMS WITH SAW V

They had to spoon feed you the plot:

--A scene featuring 'bad' detective talking with jigsaw--

SPEAK GOOD DETECTIVE-> "He talked with jigsaw!

***DO AGAIN THREE MORE TIMES WITH RUNNING JUMPING AND SLEEPING***

I saw no more.

Sweet.

Every year I make it a tradition to see the new Saw movie every Holloween with some girl friends of mine. IV sucked and this year I'm away in college. Hopefully we can see it around Christmas.

If this was a last one, it would have been a great ending. But since how they decided to make 7, it is not.

This movie felt like a commercial in comparison to all the other ones. It just gave a blurb to what could have been an extensive puzzle.

plus the whole work together as a whole underlying theme destroyed part of the film for me

Meh, could have been much better, but it was good.

Im planning to see it today

On a scale of 1-10 how gory is it?
And are there things that pop out and jump you?

Im curious if its just a flat out sick gore movie or more of a popup

What i hate being a fan of the saw series is that they took the perfect formula from the first movie, that was gore, nice storyline which was all connected to each of the characters and an awesome twist...and made it into a story with gore, a complex storyline that you wouldn't understand if you haven't seen the other movies, all sorts of random characters and the twists now are twists simply cause you can't really follow so many different chracters...

They should shoot whoever made saw 3 maybe but saw 4 and saw 5 definitely for over complicating things

Would you even say that this has a storyline?

Yes, but since ive only seen bits n pieces of the other SAW movies, i cant say if its the same main characters or what...

But in the movie it has a somehwhat easy too follow story
But the only thing that throws me off and confuses me is that the two main characters LOOK LIKE FREAKIN TWINS

Saw was an intelligent masterpiece, IMO.

Saw II was a gore-fest, but it still had a decent plot.

Saw III was a total gorefest and it barely tied in to the first two.

Haven't seen IV or V, and I probably won't after watching III.

Watched it 2 nights ago.
I have only seen number one, so it was hard to follow the plot of number five. However, like someone said, the plot was spoonfed to you so I understood half of it. Maybe that's why the plot is like this.
Good storyline with the 5 characters.
No jumpy bits really, just a fair amount of graphic gore.

8/10 anyone??
I hope it doesn't seem, like I'm young, foolish, and green.

The only way I could tell them apart was by the neck. Otherwise, I was confused about who was who.
