A lot of the time when game producers talk about code project management and strategies the focus is on the top level
game programming. What about game engine programming.
What are the differences in code and management strategies, motivation,
and goals between high level (actual game design) and low level (engine building).
Also I would like to know how you tell when its time to stop developing
the engine and start thinking about the game.
