i was hoping some one could help me capture his tone that he used on the recent heaven and hell tour, i have an ampeg ba-115 and a sx p-bass? any hints....all i know is sumthing about cranking the mids

Get a Precision Bass and put stainless steel strings on it. Plug it in to your amp and boost everything a little but put more mids then anything else. Next turn your tone knob down slightly and you should get Geezer's tone.

He is the main reason why I play bass today.

and is one of my biggest influences.

He and Bootsy Collins tie for First place, on Favorite bassists.

And I thought/Think, good ol' Terrance was asbsolutely amazing.
