So yeah I was playing random chords that popped into my head and somehow I came across this strange yet awesome sounding chord...

I think I know how to do this..

So I just woke up sitting in my desk chair, with my bong on the desk in a bunch of little pieces and my hand super glued to my penis. Speculations as to what the hell just happened and how to unglue my hand from my member would be appreciated.

That's not really a jazz chord though. It's just a barred Em in your case...

EDIT:

To TS, that's an Emaj9, but without the 3rd of the chord.

^Isn't it just Badd11?
"Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, your eyes will get sore after a while."

yeah. it's definitely Badd11, because its just a B major chord (B F# B D#) with an extra B and high E

There's nothing on chordfinder.com so I'm not surprised it didn't help you .

According to Guitar Pro, the chord as you described it:

E-0-
B-0-
G-8-
D-9-
A-9-
E-7-

is Badd11.

that is an Em chord. if you tune down a half step, it's technically an Ebm chord.

notes in the chord = E B E G B E

or

Eb Bb Eb Gb Bb Eb
shred is gaudy music

Tuning the low E down a whole step is drop D

The chord is a regular B major chord, with an open b and an open e. The open E makes the chord Badd11.

With the half step down tune it is actually Bbadd11.

There is no arguing this!

Also, there is no such thing as E4.

Guitarmunky has this wrong, which doesn't happen very often.
