As Halloween draws nearer, I've been feeling in the spirit for anything evil.

Unfortunately, Its not as easy as it was as a kid.

One thing i found that works to fix this fit, is listening to stuff that really bleeds the spirit of halloween.

Not things with cute titles like, "Monster mash" or "Ghostbusters". Stuff that creeps the hell out of ya.

You know, Songs like:

Hamburger Lady by Throbbing Gristle
Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus
Spinal Meningitis by Ween

Things that sound mentally unsettling

Can anybody name some songs like that?
Joy Division - Atrocity Exhibition

Icing happen when de puck come down, BANG, you know,
before de oder guys, nobody dere, you know.
My arm go comme ça, den de game stop den start up.

Get To Da Choppa!
Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up

Good one.

I cum blood? If you think about it, it is disturbing.
bands/artists I've seen: Protest the Hero, LIGHTS, Andrew Bird, Flight of the Conchords, Incubus, Nine Inch Nails, Between the Buried and Me, Guthrie Govan, Cynic, The Devin Townsend Project, Scale the Summit, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Darkest Hour
World's End Girlfriend - Dance for Borderline Miscanthus

Listen it all the way through, it's perfect.
And what is more, there's been a bloody purple nose and some bloody purple clothes that were messing up the lobby floor. It's just apartment house rules so all you 'partment fools remember : one man's ceiling is another man's floor.
Also this;

The part at 5:40 - the end.

Just imagine your walking down the street and it's a normal day but off in the sky you see something. It looks like an asteroid flying past Earth but what you see is actually a planet slamming into another, sending monolithic shards of rock hurling towards the Earth. Then you know, it's the end of humanity. You watch as rocks fall to Earth people and friends dying around you in the streets and there's no way to stop it, only to seek shelter for the short time that you have left.

That's why it's mentally unsettling for me

oh man i remember someone posting in the metal thread, about this French transvestite artist, who made like a weird post- black metal sound. that if not unsettling was not quite right.

The only thing that i can think of that is a bit strange, yet still enjoyable to a extent is wolves to the throne room. Not really unsettling though, its hard to describe.
