Idc if it's ethical. But that video was pretty good (not funny but um...educational [things never to say round ur kids]), and frankly, a good F-word in the right place in say...South Park is hilarious, man.

Just shows bad parenting. But they're going to end up cussing in highschool anyways.

Cussing shouldn't even be a problem, they're just words.

It's the parents fault, not the kid. He doesn't know any better.

Moderation. Sometimes using the word **** can make something really funny, or help get your point across. But if you use it to much then it loses its value. Kinda like fapping.

It sort of makes me laugh when young guidos trying to prove to other young guidos that they're badass call you a "fuckass", but then it gets stupid.

I've been swearing for a good few years and it's not my parent's fault at all, they weren't even aware until like a year ago when I was accidentally like "****" and they just laughed.

+1 your post sums up my feelings exactly. If you just swear for comedy or because it fits a situation then it is fine but you've gotta know when it is inappropriate, effectively when Free Speech is over ridden by Common Decancy.

lol. Definitely.

On the serious side though, yes. I don't think it's right, and it is not necessarily the parent's fault. They aren't necessarily the ones who teach their kids to swear.
But nonetheless, it's not just the word, it's the meaning behind as has been said.
I mean, swear words are used for appropriate places and situations.

and even if the kid will end up using them anyway..there's a time and place for everything, and it's definitely not when you're 5 years old in your house with your parents

But why does it need to be inappropriate? If I was in a situation where saying "****" was inappropriate then saying pussy or anything else with the same meaning would be just as inappropriate but only one of them is censored on this site.

I'd smack the kid in the face. Not because they were swearing, it's because they don't even know what they're saying. Thus, not really being aware of the consequences in such a heavily-censored society we live in.

well, it's not appropriate because society considers it offensive/bad taste in certain situations..and I know, who cares about what everyone else says, right? well..you live in that same society, and that basically means abide by some rules or GTFO..i guess.

And if there are other ways to say the same thing, without sounding offensive or whatever..why not use those?

..that reminds me..I do curse from time to time, but i've noticed that it limits your vocabulary if you use them too much

I have no problem with cussing, but overuse of fuck or cunt sound really annoying make you sound like a moron. Plus, 12 or 13 year old kids on Xbox Live that cuss because they think they're cool are the worst

I never really understood. Parents tell their kids not to cuss but then curse themself. It is either right or wrong, age should have nothing to do with it. It is either fine for your 10 year old to look at porn or you shouldn't be looking at it either.
#37
You aren't supposed to swear until your balls drop.

well, in that particular case..It's would be wrong in both cases, but an adult would usually be able to handle it a lot better than a 10 year old.

However, I do believe that swearing has a kinda double standard. It almost seems like people hold it to where it's a really bad thing when you're a kid, but as you get older, it suddenly becomes "okay".

Doesn't really make much sense to me how it works like that....
