ok i need to learn in like 2 seconds how to tune by ear my girlfriends guitar. i got the low e in but i cant get the rest.....

Fret the low e on the fifth fret and tune the a to that. Fret the a on the fifth fret and tune the d to it and so forth. You'll have to fret the g on the fourth fret to tune the b correctly though. Make sure to check the octaves, e.g. the low e unfretted and the e on the d string (second fret).
You can as well tune the high e to the low e and go backwards from there.
But honestly, there's no way to get it right at first try, this takes practice.

This.
To quote airboat or whatever:
the 5th fret on the E is the open A.
This applies to all strings, except the 4th fret on G is the open B string.
