Hey there guys. A simple question. Do you think this 1974 gibson sg is worth £850?
As you can tell the bridge pickup has been replaced for a dimarzio, and the original case is included. I dont want to buy this guitar just to sell on, and im not a collector, I just want a nice vintage Gibson within my price range. Which, being a uni student isnt all that much

Dear god, yes. I dont even like SG's, but that is sweet, and in amazing condition. Are you sure its 74' though?

EDIT: Whats up with the inlays?

hey there, the guitar certainly seems genuine. the serial number checks out, i shall send the pics to gibson just to make sure.

They're small blocks or something, they are geniune Gibson ones. They do ES335s with them now.

And I'd get it, it looks awesome.

I prefer the full pickguard on SGs, but still, well worth the price.
