Yeah moths are really fast. There are some about with hydrofoils on the bottom. Other boats that go stupid fast are 49ers and 18 foot skiffs

EDIT: oh it was a hydrofoil moth lol

Bigger boats are fun, but when you start getting in the smaller ones that go really fast there is really no beating it. Its the water spray and proximity to the waves i think. Cant wait to get my 49er lol

I used to sail...had a topper, was good fun. And sailed lasers at a sailing club frequently. I haven't in years due to not having a boat anymore, an injured neck and back meaning I can't pull ropes well or lean out far, and sheer laziness because I never want to have to rig up before i go out.
#15
I don't do it I'm terrified of open water

I can go the beach and go out like a few meters but I can't go on a boat or anything

I sail regularly, great sport. My dad has a comet and me and a mate regularly sail an RS vision.

Ive got a couple of hilarious sailing stories. Ive become trapped against someones trimaran, been cought in a thunderstorm with a broken boat, been stranded on the tide and many more.

Sailing is amazing! I cant do it that often because I dont live close to any big lakes
I sail mostly in a Valk (dutch name it's falcon in English but I dont know if that's the right name)
it's one like this:
~And the raindrops in the cars

Keep on falling from off the bars

Blocking out a good song

Playing on the radio~

I learned to sail on a sunfish. The only boat I've ever sailed. It's a blast.

I sail almost everyday, mostly windsurf but kite and laser too. 300 days a year of 15knots wind or more. Cabarete, D.R.
